Stefan Hillenbrand has played a leading role in the development of APM Terminals’ global modernization program for the last six years. This includes responsibility for the program strategy & transformation, development of integrated terminal modernization roadmaps, data science and performance analytics, as well as the functional PMO.
In this role, he has been working closely together with various stakeholders across APM Terminals’ global footprint of 60+ locations to lift the standards for safety, efficiency, and customer service through digital transformation. The engagements have ranged from idea-generation and strategy development to green-/brownfield projects of different sizes, as well as continuous performance optimization in live operations.
Stefan holds an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Copenhagen Business School and completed executive education programs from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to his time at APM Terminals, he was part of large-scale newbuild and retrofit initiatives at Maersk.
