Johann Bergmann holds a university degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. He has joined Fraunhofer CML in 2021 being in charge for building up a new research group “Port Technologies”. The research activities cover safe, economical, and low-emission design of processes and structures with regard to cargo handling on terminals.
Prior to joining Fraunhofer CML, Johann has been working as project manager in the Port Equipment Sales Department of Liebherr in Rostock (GER) where he was responsible for international projects related to harbour mobile cranes, reachstackers and other port handling equipment.
