Anders Dommestrup is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Manila International Container Terminal (MICT), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) flagship operation located in the Philippines. In addition to his current role, he also oversees the operations of Cavite Gateway Terminal and Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal.
Before joining the ICTSI team in Manila in 2020, Mr. Dommestrup served as the Chief Executive Officer of Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) in Melbourne, Australia from 2015 to 2020. He helped develop the ICTSI Group’s first fully automated container terminal and one of the most advanced container terminals in the world.
Prior to his roles in the ICTSI Group, Mr. Dommestrup was Chief Operating Officer of Modern Terminals from 2005 to 2015, during which he oversaw operations in Hong Kong and the mainland Chinese ports of Taicang in Shanghai and Dachan Bay in Shenzen. From 2003 to 2005, he was the Vice President for Commercial and Operational Management at Maersk Line in Dubai and also served as Vice President of APM Terminals in Malaysia/ Singapore from 1999 to 2003, and was the General Manager for Maersk Line’s operations in Dubai, Singapore, and Japan from 1992 to 1999.
